Terms and conditions for using this website

This page sets out the terms on which the pages of kitchenrenovationmoorabbin.com.au are published and read. It covers what you may do with the words and photographs here, what the guides are and are not, and the plain fact that a kitchen is priced in the room rather than on a screen.
Reading a guide, following a link or sending an enquiry through the form means you accept what is written below. It is short, and it is written in the same voice as the rest of the site.
Index — six clauses

01  Using this website
Acceptable use and availability

General advice, not a design

04  Quotes and contracts

A page can describe a kitchen. Only a tape measure can commit to one.
Field label — scope

These terms cover the site you are reading, not the work that may follow from it.
01

Using this website

The site is published by Kitchen Renovation Moorabbin, a kitchen renovation specialist working in Moorabbin and the surrounding bayside suburbs. Browsing these pages, reading a guide or sending an enquiry through the form means you accept the terms on this page as they stand at the time you use it.

Use the site for your own research into a kitchen renovation — reading, printing a guide, or sharing a link with someone in your household.

Do not interfere with the site, attempt to gain access to parts of it that are not public, or use automated tools to harvest pages in bulk.

Do not submit another person’s details through the enquiry form without their knowledge, or send information you know to be false.

Do not use the enquiry form to send unsolicited marketing, or the site for any unlawful purpose.

The pages are maintained with care, but the site is provided as it stands. Access may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control, and no page is undertaken to be available at any particular moment.

The words and pictures on these pages

The written guides, service descriptions, headings, captions and page arrangements on this site are our own work and remain our property or are used under licence. You are welcome to read them, print them for your own planning, and link to them. Republishing substantial passages, reproducing pages on another site, or extracting the text in bulk for any other system requires written permission, which can be requested through the contact form.
Photography on this site is licensed reference imagery. It is chosen to show layouts, cabinetry, benchtops, splashbacks and finishes in general terms so that a written point has something to sit beside, and each picture carries a caption describing what is shown. Those images remain the property of their photographers and licensors, and may not be copied from these pages for reuse.
The business name and the marks used across the site may not be used in a way that suggests association, endorsement or approval without permission.
Note — attribution

A photograph here shows a material or a layout — never a claim over the room it was taken in.
03 — the guides

General advice, not a design for your kitchen

Dimensions, material comparisons and sequences described in the Kitchen Guides are written for kitchens in general. Your room, its services and its structure decide what is actually possible.

What a guide can do

Explain how layouts behave, what separates one benchtop material from another, where cost tends to concentrate, and which decisions are locked in at which stage. It gives you the vocabulary for the conversation.

What a guide cannot do

Confirm that a wall can move, that a bench will fit, that a service can be relocated, or that a product suits your household. Nothing published here should be relied on as a design, building or compliance recommendation for a particular property.

What settles it

A measure taken in the room, followed by drawings. That work belongs to Kitchen Design and the wider twelve-stage process — not to a web page.
Field label — how a price is reached

Nothing written on a page has been measured. The room has to be.

01  Consultation
What the kitchen fails to do

02  Measure
The room recorded, not the cabinets

03  Design
Drawings the work is priced from

04  Quote
A written scope, issued after the three above

04

No quote and no contract is formed here

Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. Descriptions of scope, materials and sequence are written to help you understand the work, not to fix what a particular kitchen will involve or what it will cost.
A quote is prepared only after the earlier stages of our process have been worked through in your home — consultation, measure, then design. Sending an enquiry starts a conversation and places you under no obligation; equally, it does not commit us to undertaking the work. Any engagement exists only once a written quote and an agreed scope are accepted in writing by both sides, and the terms of that document govern the work itself rather than this page.
06

Liability, changes and the law that applies

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from reliance on the general information published on this site, from an interruption to the site, or from the content of any site linked from it. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Personal information sent through the enquiry form is handled as described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
These terms may change as the site changes; the version published on this page is the one that applies to your use of it. They are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of that State have jurisdiction over any matter arising from them.

If something on this page is unclear, or you want permission to reproduce material from the site, write to us through the contact form and say which page you are asking about.
